OVER HALFWAY COMPLETED - Construction on Fulton County Transit Authority’s Administrative Office Complex is 60 to 65 percent complete. “I am looking forward to the completion of our new facility,” FCTA Interim Executive Director Kenney Etherton said Wednesday afternoon. The new facility will contain a training room and additional staff offices. The goal from the onset has been to get FCTA employees working under one roof. A groundbreaking for the new addition was held May 25.

HOLIDAY FUN - FCTA celebrated Halloween in a big way and in various locations thie year. Dispatch/Scheduling Supervisor Christy Snow and Marketing Director Kim Jobe participated in the Hickman County Trunk or Treat at the Farmers Market in Clinton on Wednesday, October 19, to kickoff local happenings. Two other FCTA employees took part in the Trunk or Treat portion of the Twin Cities Halloween Fun Festival Saturday night at Unity and Pontotoc parks. FCTA Driver Tenna Bynum and FCTA Dispatcher Allyson Williams gave out loads of candy to those participating. Bynum took photos during the event and even caught Williams visiting with a couple of those seeking sugary treats at the event. FCTA participated in the annual Halloween Parade in Clinton Monday afternoon. FCTA Ambassador Darrell Sims, a Clinton resident, represented the agency in the parade. He was driven through the route by FCTA Driver Supervisor Jo Ann Gardiner. Earlier Monday, some FCTA employees dressed up at work for Halloween. They included Interim Executive Director Kenney Etherton; Schedulers Ashley Grissom and Kendall Etherton; IT Tech Ryan Henderson; Call Taker Brianna Rushin; Dispatcher Allyson Williams; and Operations Manager Rachel Cook.

Fulton County Transit Authority was implemented in 1985 under resolutions by the Fulton County Fiscal Court for the operation of a Transit system in Region I. FCTA proudly serves Fulton, Hickman, Graves, and Carlisle counties
and is open to the public.
